This Found Journal
Notes from the Road
Personal notes from Scandinavia — retailers, brands, nature stops, and the road between them.
There is something special about seeing things in real life.
Not just through a screen, not through orders, emails, or reports — but by actually getting in the car, driving through Scandinavia, stepping into stores, meeting people, seeing how they work, what they are drawn to, and what makes them pause.
Over time I have realized that some of the most meaningful parts of building This Found do not only happen behind a desk. They happen on the road. In small towns, in city streets, in quiet shops, over coffee, during unpacking, in conversations about products, materials, mood, scent, taste, and the feeling a brand leaves behind.
This journal is a place for those moments.
A place to share some of the retailers I meet along the way, the spaces that stay with me, and the thoughts that come up while building This Found and our three brands — NKD APE, BySips, and KOCO.
Sometimes it will be about a store visit. Sometimes it will be about a product, an idea, a display, a landscape, a long drive, or a small stop in nature that suddenly puts everything back into perspective.
I do not want this to feel too polished. I want it to feel honest. More like notes collected while moving. Things seen, felt, learned, and remembered.
Scandinavia has a certain rhythm to it. Distances, light, weather, quietness, design, and people all shape the journey. And somewhere in between meetings, roads, forests, coastlines, and shop floors, there is a story that feels worth capturing.
So this is the beginning.
A personal journal from the road — about retailers, brands, inspiration, nature stops, and everything found in between.
